Fat girls never talk about inner thigh chaffing. Even when we get thin, we don’t talk about it. That’s how you can tell the naturally thin athletes from the used-to-be-fat ones. The naturally thin athletes have no problem talking about Vaseline, lubricant and clothing that prevents chaffing because they have no shame attached to it.
I wish I could be like that.
Instead, I find clothing that works and never talk about how grateful I am that my inner thighs are chafe-free. I never talk about how my gym clothes don’t ride up.
Case in point, the Women’s Pro Spirit Core Mesh Capri Pants. I found these at Target. I bought them on sale for ten bucks. I tried out one pair and was back to the store after one workout and cleaned out the store. Then I went to the Target on the south side of town and bought all of them in my size there too. I’ve been exercising with them for months.
I love them because my inner thighs don’t chafe and they don’t ride up.
Why is it so hard for me to say that?

I don’t think I would be going to the gym or even walking when it’s hot if it weren’t for capris. Oh the shame of it – the chafing part! I would be lost without my half dozen capris picked just for exercising. The tricky problems of clothes and our bodies seems to be HUGE when we let ourselves feel ashamed – sad, huh?

I ran to both of my local Target stores after reading this post only to find that the only sizes they had in stock were S and M…. ugh.

I looked on Amazon and they only have the light blue in small now. It looks like they might be making way for a new design, so keep your eye on the lookout at Target for the replacement.
When I bought mine, they had them in sizes up to XXL, so they aren’t ignoring us. We just bought up all of their larger sizes.

I just went to Target and they don’t sell Prospirit anymore. They have Champion in S,M,L, and XL.

I love them also–bought 4 pairs about 2-3 yrs ago. I went back to Target to buy more and they had some ProSpirit capri’s that kind of looked the same but weren’t. They didn’t fit the same either–when I went to sit down, they showed my underwear. Also, the tag on the inside was different. I haven’t found the good ones since.
