Biggest Loser Water?

By Laura Moncur @ 5:00 am — Filed under:

The Biggest LoserI stopped watching The Biggest Loser pretty early this season. I don’t like that new trainer. I really miss Jillian and it seemed even MORE commercial than last year. Last year’s constant Jello commercials really bugged me, but this year, everything was a commercial, so I stopped watching.

I guess my instincts were right on about the commercialization of the show. Last week, on my trip to the grocery store, I saw a huge display of bottled water with last year’s “Biggest Loser” advertising it. Penta Water is filtered water, so it doesn’t pretend to be diet water, but I was still offended. The look on Matt’s face told me all I needed to know about Penta Water. His mouth was smiling, but his eyes weren’t. You don’t watch a season of reality TV without being able to recognize when someone isn’t happy. Matt, if you’re out there reading this, you don’t need to sell your body to Penta Water.

I looked away when they did the “Pudding in a Cloud” episode. I glazed over every glimpse of Jello, One-A-Day vitamins, Diet Rite and Timex watches. I even turned the other cheek when an entire episode was turned into a commercial for The Planet Hollywood Casino and Las Vegas. But, come on? Biggest Loser Water?

Bad form, Biggest Loser, bad form…

A lot of diets are commercial but a lot of the better one can be done without magic food.

I only saw one episode online and a lot of web clips. I don’t have basic cable. I thought that girl from NJ seemed pretty cool.

The Planet Hollywood Casino? Do they even have a healthy menue?

I have to agree, the show has sucked this season and it was not just because of product placement. One of the biggest changes was that most of the competitors now are willing to screw over teammates and others to win and do not support each other as well as they did in the past

I just can’t get past the huge fake boobs the “new” trainer has. Call me shallow but I have a hard time respecting her and how she treats people, with her whiny voice and her big-as-her-head implants, talking about how she has “body image issues too!”. sigh

Honestly i think all of you are complainers. if you got your butt up off the couch and got on that show, it would be a completey different story. so many times people criticize others on tv for the little things they do wrong, have you ever tried getting on tv and do things right. those people are on the biggest loser to loose weight. not to be talked about. As for the trainer having fake boobs, CLEARLY you’re jealous. Think about if you lost a bunch of weight and looked amazing, but your breasts sagged to a signifigant amount. Wouldn’t you want surgery? Even if you didnt, you’re not in the place to talk about others wishes. Back to people complaining about the show..if you have a problem about it, stop watching it!

I agree if your so “over” the show and can do nothing but talk about how much you dont like it then stop it watching it. And as for Michelle yeah she may have had a bood job… who cares why is that such an issue? and as for voice and the way she treats people shes out there helping people who want to change there lives get fit and loose weight if anything shes an insperation. So untill your perfect stop poitning out her faults.

i dont care what any one says, i think the program is GREAT- watching people change their lives in front of america is insperation enough for prople like me to get motivated- i write down the tips i see on the program and make them work for me. it takes alot of courage for people that are unhappy with themselves and the way they look to go on tv infront of thousands of people, and do what they do……. congrats to them all.
