I turned my eyes away from this postcard from PostSecret. I didn’t even want to think about this one. No matter how far I’ve come lately, I haven’t been able to like how I look naked. Sometimes, I can catch a glimpse of enjoying my appearance when I’m wearing clothing that I feel are flattering, but I have never looked at myself naked and felt proud.
When will that come for me?

I’m a size 6 and I don’t like how I look when I’m naked.

Does it really matter how YOU LOOK whether naked or dressed? More importantly, how do you feel? Feel physically, emotionally, spiritually and feel about YOURSELF! Put the energy of self ctiticism aside and use that energy to grow and better yourself in areas that trouble you. Sure, this is sometimes easier said than done but hey – what’s the alternative?!

There’s a great new book out called, “Do I look fat in this?” It addresses the language of fat that we’ve all been programmed to speak and how it affects and enhances our self-loathing. Very interesting read! Joy in C
