Fun Treadmill Workout From Ford Fitness Models
I wanted to hate this video. I wanted to just brush off the whole collection of fitness videos from this modeling agency, but this is the BEST explanation of the workout that I did on the treadmill during my Trekking classes at the gym.
It’s REALLY hard to describe the side step thing on the treadmill. This video shows you exactly how to do it. I LOVE to workout on my treadmill and I feel strangely uncomfortable agreeing with every word she says.
One note: You should do the side step thing for half the time facing one direction and half the time facing the other direction so that you’ll get a workout on both legs evenly. She didn’t mention that in the video, but that’s what we did in my trekking class.
You can see more exercise videos (as well as weird fashion stuff) here:
It’s a surprising leap for a modeling agency to start creating media. I know it promotes their models, but they are creating some good work here. I’m interested to see how this works…

That was a really nice video. The model chickie explained the routine very well – and I’ve never heard before of doing side lunges on a treadmill. And it was really nice that she was a little dorky but happy about talking about the workout. Thank you for posting it – I’ll be sure to share it out in the rest of the world.

I enjoyed Laura’s short video. I wondered what speed to put the treadmill on in order to do the side steps. I get bored easily and have found my MP3 as my lifesaver. Before I could only hang on the treadmill for no more than 30 minutes. I have made it up to 90 continuous and 113 minutes with a short bathroom break in between.
I search for music that made me get moving. Trance music is a good genre for exercising.
Thank you Laura for taking the time to make this video. I look forward to more tips.

I also change my intervals as Laura suggested.

I usually put my speed at 2.0 mph when I’m doing the side lunges.

I hate to admit it but it does look like a good workout with enough unique stuff to keep it fun and HARD. I am not in shape enough to go at her speed BUT it those side lunges will be something for me to aspire to do…
Anyone else rather clumsy on the treadmill when you aren’t hanging on?
